The wrong in this photo may not be immediately obvious. If you look to the side of my son you will see a kangaroo looking at him. On a trip to Eildon, Victoria we sent our 2 year old son off to chase the kangaroos. Only after he had taken off did we both consider the dangers. It occurred to us at the same time. My partner and I both looked at each other and said “that’s not really a good idea is it?”
Luckily the kangaroos took off and no dangers were met. However, we decided after that it was not a good idea to send young children off chasing wild animals. Particularly when they are strong, large ones.
