My son recently lost his first tooth. It came as quite a surprise to us. He isn’t 5 yet.

I wasn’t expecting him to lose teeth yet and hadn’t really prepared him. He didn’t understand what happened and was quite upset one morning that his tooth was “broken”. I had to explain that it wasn’t broken. He was just getting a new tooth.

Since he lost the tooth I have spent a lot of time looking at the inside of his mouth. He loves to show it off.

I thought that I would share it for this photo challenge. It seemed fitting.
